Binrui Mo
Concert Director, Producer, Production Technologist, Violinist
Binrui Mo is a performing arts professional, concert producer, and production technologist currently serving as Manager of Production & Engagement for the University of Delaware Master Players Concert Series. His work spans concert production, artist management, production technology, educational programming, and public engagement across university and community settings. His work combines arts leadership, technology, education, and community engagement to expand access to cultural experiences and strengthen the public value of live performance.
He has produced and supported more than 30 sold-out concert productions across classical music, jazz, musical theatre, and interdisciplinary programming, contributing to more than 27,000 audience engagements. His work extends beyond concert production and artist management to include fundraising, educational outreach, audience development, donor engagement, and institutional partnerships. Binrui is currently developing the Shanghai Sonatas Educational Residency, a national humanities initiative promoting historical understanding, cultural exchange, and public engagement through music and education.

An audience engagement and educational access initiative that connects college and high school students, as well as lifelong learners, with live classical music through free or discounted concert tickets, artist interactions, and educational experiences.

A community engagement and music education initiative that expands access to high-quality music learning opportunities for children, including those facing financial barriers. Through donor-supported programming and artist mentorship, the project provides educational experiences designed to foster creativity, confidence, and sustained engagement with the arts.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to the growth and sustainability of performing arts organizations through stakeholder engagement, donor relations, partnership development, and strategic relationship building. In addition to producing artistic and educational programs, I work with donors, advisory council members, university stakeholders, community partners, and artists to support fundraising, strengthen institutional relationships, and expand program capacity. These experiences have helped me build collaborative networks, support long-term organizational goals, and sustain mission-driven arts initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Developed and maintained relationships with donors, alumni, community leaders, and university stakeholders through educational programs, artist engagement opportunities, cultivation events, and ongoing communication. These efforts helped build stronger connections between stakeholders and the organization’s artistic and educational mission.
Donor Stewardship
Coordinated donor receptions, artist dinners, educational experiences, and VIP events designed to build and maintain relationships with supporters. These activities supported continued donor engagement and strengthened connections between philanthropic supporters and the organization’s programs.
Partnership Development
Collaborated with academic departments, community organizations, artists, and institutional partners to develop educational, artistic, and outreach initiatives. These partnerships expanded opportunities for audience engagement and strengthened connections between the performing arts, the university, and the broader community.
Grant & Resource Development
Contributed to grant-supported projects through program coordination, reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication. I also supported initiatives that expanded educational programming and audience access while helping meet funding and reporting requirements.
Advisory Council Growth
Assisted with the recruitment, cultivation, and engagement of advisory council members and community leaders who contribute strategic guidance, advocacy, and philanthropic support. This work helped broaden the organization’s network of supporters and community relationships.
